Künstlerhaus Exter mit Garten

Übersee, Bayern

A 500-year-old farmhouse in Feldwies, converted from 1902 into the home and studio of the painter Julius Exter, a co-founder of the Munich Secession. He lived here until his death in 1939. The estate includes a landscaped garden, and the house now serves as a gallery and museum. More of Exter's work hangs in the Old Palace on Herrenchiemsee.
