Junkerhaus

Lemgo, Nordrhein-Westfalen

This half-timbered house is the lifelong project of the artist Karl Junker, who finished building it in 1891 and kept decorating it with imaginative carvings until his death in 1912. The furniture and fittings inside are his own work and blend seamlessly into the walls. An exhibition hall shows pieces from his artistic estate.
