Historisches Museum Bremerhaven

Bremerhaven, Freie Hansestadt Bremen

On the south bank of the Geeste, between the Alte Geestebrücke and the Kennedybrücke, this museum tells the history of Bremerhaven and its surroundings. It grew from a collection of archaeological and folk-life finds gathered by a local heritage society from the late 19th century. It was formerly known as the Morgenstern-Museum.
