Heuneburgmuseum

Original finds from years of excavation around the Heuneburg are on show here, the site of a Celtic town above the Danube some 2,500 years ago. Text panels and staged displays introduce everyday life, craftsmanship and the far-reaching trade links of the early Celts. Imported goods such as amber, coral and Attic pottery feature, as does the jewellery from the richly furnished princess's grave at the Bettelbühl necropolis.
