In the 6th century BC an early Celtic princely seat stood on this spur above the Danube, its fortified core measuring about 300 by 150 metres. The site, with its outer fort and wide surrounding settlement, has been excavated since 1950. From the plateau you look over the Danube valley to the Bussen, and on a clear day to the Alps.
