Grassimuseum
Leipzig, Sachsen
Three museums share this large complex on Johannisplatz: the Museum of Applied Arts, the Ethnography Museum and the University's Musical Instruments Museum. The building went up in the 1920s with touches of New Objectivity and Art Deco and is arranged around several courtyards. It is named after the Leipzig merchant Franz Dominic Grassi, whose bequest paid for it.
