Goseriedebad

Hannover, Niedersachsen

This neo-Baroque building with Art Nouveau details was built between 1902 and 1905 as Hanover's first indoor swimming baths, with pools, tub baths, a steam and air bath and even a bath for dogs. The baths closed in 1982 and, after conversion, the building now houses the Kestnergesellschaft art society and a radio station. It is not a museum in its own right; the building itself is the draw.
