Goldbergmuseum

Goldburghausen, Baden-Württemberg

Right beside the Goldberg, where so many traces of early prehistory have turned up, this museum aims to make the past easy to picture, for casual visitors as much as for archaeologists. It opened in 1983, built up by the teacher Hans Pfletschinger, who found objects on the Goldberg as a schoolboy, together with a volunteer working group. The exhibits come from the site itself.
