Gedenkstätte Museum in der „Runden Ecke“

Leipzig, Sachsen

Housed in the former Leipzig headquarters of the East German state security service on Dittrichring, this museum explains how the Ministry for State Security was structured and how it worked. You walk through the very building where surveillance was organised, and learn the history of the apparatus. It has operated as a memorial since 1990.
