Freilichtmuseum Finsterau
Mauth, Bayern
Farmhouses and village buildings from the Bavarian Forest stand across the wide grounds at Finsterau, from small cottages to a grand four-sided farmstead. The buildings date from the 18th and 19th centuries and are furnished as they were between the 1930s and 1960s. You can also see a village smithy, a cobbler's workshop, a small chapel, a stable built entirely of granite and a roadside inn with a dance hall.
