Glasmuseum Frauenau

Frauenau, Bayern

Frauenau has about 500 years of glassworks tradition, and this museum covers it along with glassmaking worldwide. It is closely tied to the studio glass movement, which found a European centre here through the link between Erwin Eisch and the American Harvey K. Littleton. A cornerstone of the permanent exhibition is the studio glass collection donated by Wolfgang Kermer.
