Deutsches Hygiene-Museum
Dresden, Sachsen
Part medical museum, part forum for science and society, this Dresden museum on Lingnerplatz offers exhibitions on subjects close to human life. The building opened in 1930, was heavily bombed in 1945, rebuilt, and thoroughly renovated between 2001 and 2005. With around 280,000 visitors a year, it is among the city's best-attended museums.
