Burg Mildenstein

This large castle sits on a rocky spur high above the Freiberger Mulde and served as a seat of power for centuries. Visitors can see the castle chapel and climb the 32-metre keep. The front palace, built by Margrave Wilhelm I after 1365, still gives the complex its look today.
