Bezirksmuseum Ottakring
Wien, Wien
Ottakring began as a wine village on the city's edge and grew into a densely populated working-class and immigrant district. This district museum at Richard-Wagner-Platz 19b traces that change with around 3000 exhibits. You can also see the Josef Weinheber room, devoted to the poet, and a reconstructed accordion maker's workshop. It is housed in the local municipal office building.
