Bezirksmuseum Hernals
Wien, Wien
On the third floor of the former Hernals savings bank, built in 1911–13 in a mix of historicist and Secession styles, this district museum tells the story of Hernals. Its holdings include archaeological finds, Roman coins and tiles stamped by the 10th and 13th legions, a photo archive of the district's streets, and a file on 350 notable people. A separate archive is devoted to Johann and Josef Schrammel.
