Set in Wertheimstein Park, the museum occupies the Villa Wertheimstein and the older Nonnenstöckl. Its rooms cover prehistoric finds, old views and photos of Döbling's districts, a model of the former monastery on the Kahlenberg, and transport history with models of the cog and cable railways. Wine growing and industry are covered too, along with tributes to Ferdinand von Saar, Eduard von Bauernfeld and the Wertheimstein family.
