Bezirksmuseum Alsergrund

On the second floor of the district office building at Währinger Straße 43, this local museum tells the story of Vienna's Alsergrund district. Its permanent display was redesigned in 2016, and there is also a room for special exhibitions and a separate room devoted to religion. Two small memorial spaces honour the poets Erich Fried and Heimito von Doderer. The museum is now part of the ALSEUM.
