Bergbaumuseum Kupferberg

Kupferberg, Bayern

Kupferberg became a town in 1326 on the strength of its copper finds, and this museum traces local mining from the Middle Ages into the 20th century. It displays tools, equipment and finds, both ordinary and unusual. On the grounds of the visitor mine you can also see the entrance to a drainage tunnel.
