Bauhaus-Museum

Weimar, Thüringen

This museum tells the story of the early Bauhaus, founded in Weimar in 1919, and of the artists, designers and architects who worked there. It presents the Weimar holdings of the Bauhaus collection. The new building on Stéphane-Hessel-Platz opened in 2019 for the school's 100th anniversary; before that, the museum had been in a smaller former coach house since 1995.
