Haus der Weimarer Republik
Weimar, Thüringen
Right by the Weimar theatre square, this museum tells the story of Germany's first democracy: the Weimar Republic, the adoption of its constitution in 1919 and the emergence of democracy. It occupies a neoclassical carriage house designed by Clemens Wenzeslaus Coudray, later converted into an art hall and for a time home to the Bauhaus Museum. It opened in 2019.
