Zeppelin Museum

Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg

In the former reception building of the harbour station right on Lake Constance, the museum shows around 1,500 original pieces on the history and technology of airship travel. You can walk through a full-scale partial reconstruction of the Hindenburg, and see an engine nacelle from the Graf Zeppelin, a Maybach Zeppelin car and many airship models. An art collection of southern German masters from the Middle Ages onwards sits alongside, including Otto Dix.
