Wiener Kriminalmuseum

Wien, Wien

Twenty rooms in a house dating from 1685, one of the oldest in Leopoldstadt, trace the history of justice, policing and crime from the Middle Ages to modern times. Displays cover medieval punishment, the last public executions in Vienna and individual criminal cases. A café in the inner courtyard offers a break afterwards.
