Repairs to a sewer in 1948 uncovered the remains of the tribunes' houses of the Roman legionary camp Vindobona beneath the Hoher Markt. They are now part of this museum, devoted entirely to Vienna in Roman times. It stands diagonally across from the Anker Clock.
