Werner-Berg-Museum
Bleiburg, Kärnten
This museum is devoted to the painter Werner Berg, who settled on a farm in southern Carinthia in 1931 and lived there as both farmer and artist until his death in 1981. More than 150 oil paintings, woodcuts and drawings are on permanent show. The building is a 17th-century town house, extended with a skylit hall in the courtyard, a creative space and a panoramic lift.
