Peršmanhof

Eisenkappel-Vellach, Kärnten

This remote farmstead near Bad Eisenkappel served as a base for Carinthian partisans in the Second World War. On 25 April 1945, SS police killed eleven civilians here, seven of them children. Today the museum in the farm tells the story of the Carinthian Slovenes and their resistance under National Socialism.
