The regional museum of the Lavant Valley stands near the old town of Wolfsberg. Its permanent show is organised into 15 themed modules with many multimedia stations, ranging from prehistory and mining treasures to the wartime prisoner-of-war camp in Wolfsberg, local cinema history, and costume and dialect. Panoramas of the valley are also on view.
