Veletržní palác

Praha, Praha

Built in the late 1920s to host trade fairs, this vast functionalist hall in Holešovice now belongs to the National Gallery. Inside you will find the permanent display of 20th- and 21st-century art, along with further exhibition spaces. The building itself, designed by Josef Fuchs and Oldřich Tyl, is part of the draw: when finished it was the largest structure of its kind in the world.
