Národní galerie v Praze

Praha, Praha

The country's largest art collection is spread across several historic buildings in Prague. Modern art is shown in the Trade Fair Palace, while other displays and exhibitions are in the Convent of St Agnes, Kinský Palace, Salm Palace, Sternberg Palace, Schwarzenberg Palace and the Wallenstein Riding School. It traces back to a picture gallery founded by patriotic nobles and scholars in 1796, and shows Czech and international art.
