Poštovní muzeum Praha

Praha, Praha

Tucked into the historic Vávra's Mill near Štefánik Bridge, this museum traces the history of the post, stamps, telecommunications and radio in the Czech lands. It was founded in December 1918, on the very day Czechoslovakia issued its first postage stamps. A larger branch with a carriage collection has stood in the monastery at Vyšší Brod since 1976.
