Struwwelpeter-Museum

Frankfurt am Main, Hessen

Struwwelpeter, the children's book written in 1844 by the Frankfurt psychiatrist Heinrich Hoffmann, has its home here. The museum shows Hoffmann's papers and tells the story of the book. It occupies the reconstructed Haus zum Esslinger in the New Old Town; the step-free rooms won a German Design Award in 2022.
