Straßenbahnwelt Stuttgart
Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg
Vintage Stuttgart trams are the heart of this museum in Bad Cannstatt, along with objects from the running and technology of the system. It tells the story of Stuttgart's tramways and of neighbouring networks such as the Filderbahn, Feuerbach, Esslingen and the interurban line to Nellingen and Denkendorf. Displays on track and overhead-wire construction explain the engineering. Sightseeing rides in historic cars also set off from here, over the surviving part of Stuttgart's metre-gauge network.
