Stadtmuseum Bad Cannstatt
Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg
The Klösterle is a half-timbered house dating from shortly after 1463, the oldest surviving dwelling in Stuttgart, standing at the edge of Cannstatt's old town. On the first floor it has a Gothic chapel with a Renaissance stucco ceiling from 1576. Its name suggests that beguines may have lived here at one time in the Middle Ages. Today the house serves as the town museum of Bad Cannstatt.
