Stockmachermuseum Lindewerra
Lindewerra, Thüringen
Lindewerra, right on the border with Hesse, was a village of walking-stick makers. The trade arrived in 1836, and in the 1920s up to 500,000 sticks a year were made, with almost every family involved. The museum presents this craft tradition of the Werra valley village.
