Models, media points and listening stations bring Paderborn's past townscape back to life in this city history museum. At its heart is a storage-style display holding five collections. The building incorporates the former cloister and garden of the Abdinghof monastery, destroyed in 1945, so the town's history is told on the very ground where much of it happened.
