Stadtmuseum Haus zum Löwen

Neu-Isenburg, Hessen

In the Haus zum Löwen, the first inn of the Huguenot settlers, the town museum tells of the history, culture and economy of Neu-Isenburg, founded in 1699 as a refuge town. The house stands on a corner of the town's square plan and was rebuilt faithfully after being demolished in 1976. The exhibition was redesigned between 2009 and 2011, and the entrance is step-free.
