Kalkar, Nordrhein-Westfalen

The municipal museum of Kalkar occupies a stepped-gable house dating from 1500. It presents the town's history and an art collection with paintings by artists such as Max Clarenbach, Heinrich Nauen and Franz Radziwill, and sculpture including work by Kubach-Wilmsen. A new building links it to the town archive in the 1430 civic house.
