Städtisches Museum Am Rykenberg – Wendelin-Leidinger-Haus
Werl, Nordrhein-Westfalen
Werl's local history museum occupies a medieval stone-and-timber house built for a family of castle retainers, with parts going back to the 14th century. Themed sections trace the town's history, including the salt-making families who later lived here. On the ground floor, a large collection of paintings by Heinrich von Rustige is on show.
