Staatliche Graphische Sammlung München

München, Bayern

More than 400,000 sheets of drawings and prints, from the 15th century to the modern era, are held by this collection in Munich's museum quarter. Alongside the print rooms of Berlin and Dresden, it is among the most important of its kind in Germany. Its roots lie in a cabinet of Elector Carl Theodor in Mannheim palace, which was brought to Munich in 1794.
