Senckenberg-Naturmuseum

Frankfurt am Main, Hessen

Dinosaur skeletons draw most visitors here, among them a fossil Edmontosaurus with its scaly skin preserved. Across about 6,000 square metres, this natural history museum shows several thousand exhibits on nature and the history of the Earth. There is also a display of some 1,000 mounted birds and a large collection of shells and molluscs. A model Tyrannosaurus rex stands outside.
