Schulmuseum Reckahn

Kloster Lehnin, Brandenburg

The schoolhouse that estate owner Friedrich Eberhard von Rochow had built in Reckahn in 1773 was the first two-class village school in Prussia and became a model for schools across Europe. The museum inside shows how village children were taught and how Rochow hoped education would improve life for country people.
