Archäologisches Landesmuseum Brandenburg im Paulikloster

Brandenburg an der Havel, Brandenburg

Walk through 130,000 years of Brandenburg's past in chronological order, from the Stone Age through the Bronze and Iron Ages and the Slavic period to modern times. Around 10,000 finds fill more than 2,000 square metres, backed up by models, reconstruction drawings and multimedia stations. Highlights include the oldest known carrying net in the world, found at Friesack, and the grave goods from the Bronze Age royal tomb of Seddin. The museum occupies a former monastery, St Paul's, dating from the 13th century.
