In the gardener's house in Ismaning's palace park, objects, documents and photographs tell the story of the village and the palace grounds. One focus is the ducal Beauharnais-Leuchtenberg family, another the growth of the community in the 19th and 20th centuries. The village is first recorded in the year 809.
