Schiffahrtsmuseum Nordfriesland
Husum, Schleswig-Holstein
At the tip of Husum's inner harbour, opposite the town hall, this museum uses four levels to show how shipbuilding, navigation, whaling and coastal fishing shaped North Frisia. On the ground floor stands the full-size stern of an Eider schnigge, along with bottle ships and maritime curiosities. Outside you will find a historic slipway, engines and anchors.
