Schaubergwerk Herkules-Frisch-Glück

This show mine takes you 80 metres underground, through tunnels, past emerald-green subterranean lakes and into two large marble halls. It is Saxony's oldest show mine and is visited on guided tours. Above ground, the Bergmännische Erlebniswelt traces mining around Waschleithe, which goes back more than five centuries. There is also a children's mine, and children from the age of four can go down.
