Sächsisches Rot-Kreuz-Museum Beierfeld
Grünhain-Beierfeld, Sachsen
Some 20,000 items on the history of the Red Cross and nursing in Saxony fill this museum in Beierfeld. It grew out of a local association's collection and covers about 200 square metres, with a library of over 11,000 books and journals. Opened in 1996, it was the first of its kind in the eastern German states.
