Sandelsches Museum

Kirchberg's local history museum fills the Old School, a Baroque building from 1748. It grew out of the collection of Theodor Sandel, a military court counsellor, and also holds furniture and belongings of the writer Georg Harro Schaeff-Scheefen, plus weapons and trophies from Cameroon gathered by a colonial officer, Baron Kurt von Crailsheim. The displays were reorganised in 2004.
