Rupertinum

Salzburg, Salzburg

The Rupertinum shows modern and contemporary art in Salzburg's old town. The building was first mentioned in 1350 and took on its early Baroque look in 1633. Friedensreich Hundertwasser designed its facade in 1982, including the so-called tongue beards at some of the windows. The Austrian photo gallery is part of the house, which belongs to the Museum der Moderne.
