Mozarts Geburtshaus
Salzburg, Salzburg
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in 1756 on the third floor of this townhouse in Salzburg's Getreidegasse, where his family lived from 1747 to 1773. The museum follows his early life, his friends and his passion for opera. Upstairs you can see his childhood violin, portraits, documents and early editions of his music. On the second floor stands the clavichord on which he composed The Magic Flute.
