Römermuseum Teurnia
Lendorf, Kärnten
Teurnia was once a thriving Roman provincial capital, and this museum near the parish church of St. Peter in Holz tells the story of its people. Marble sculptures, inscriptions and jewellery show the daily life, society and art of Romans and Celts. The main draws are the early Christian bishop's church and a mosaic floor rich in symbolism.
