Porsche Museum Gmünd

Gmünd in Kärnten, Kärnten

This is where Porsche's design office worked from 1944 to 1950, after Ferdinand Porsche moved it from Stuttgart to Carinthian Gmünd. In 1948 the 356 No. 1 Roadster, the first car to carry the Porsche name, was built here. The museum shows automotive and engineering history at the place where the marque began.
